Summary

Join The Escapist as a remote contract writer to contribute to our coverage of live-service games like Marvel Rivals, Warframe, Call of Duty, and Fortnite. This position requires excellent English writing skills, the ability to work independently, and a strong knowledge of live-service games. You'll need to submit a resume, cover letter, and two writing samples. While experience with SEO and social media is preferred, it's not mandatory. Requirements

• Possess excellent English language writing skills
• Demonstrate eagerness to learn and incorporate feedback
• Be a self-starter capable of completing assignments independently
• Have a strong knowledge of live-service games
• Submit a resume
• Submit a cover letter mentioning live-service games you play
• Submit two writing samples demonstrating your writing ability on relevant topics

Responsibilities

• Write articles about live-service games
• Complete writing assignments in a timely manner
• Pitch trending ideas for articles

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Google Trends
• Experience writing SEO content
• Fluency in using social media platforms such as TikTok, X, Facebook, etc
• Availability on weekends
