Summary

The job is a Coordinator position at a language services company, where you will handle interpretation requests, manage tasks, and provide exceptional customer service. Requirements

  • Working Internet Connection that meets internal speed requirement
  • A quiet work space free of distractions
  • Basic interest in foreign cultures required (knowledge of foreign languages helpful)
  • Customer service experience or Call Center experience required
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Professional and positive phone manner with clients from all types of industry sectors
  • Must be proficient in current software packages (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point)
  • Attention to detail while effectively juggling multiple tasks
  • Willingness to learn and take on more responsibility as needed
  • College degree or equivalent work experience helpful
  • Regular and punctual attendance

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a high level of customer service while assisting clients, interpreters and internal customers over the phone, via email and chat
  • Complete Outbound calls to address client and interpreter needs
  • Accurately gather required information to process scheduled interpretation requests via phone, online or email
  • Perform necessary next steps to assign an appropriate Interpreter or Agency Partner
  • Complete all client and interpreter follow-up notifications and updates via phone and email within the specified timeframe
  • Utilize available resources for independent problem-solving and escalate other issues or concerns as appropriate
  • Adhere to personal attendance schedule and arrive for work on time
  • Communicate with Contact Center Managers, as appropriate, when issues arise
  • Maintain full confidentiality and adhere to LSA's security policies at all times
  • Provide excellent customer service addressing all client and interpreter needs
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by the Division Manager
