Requirements

• A portfolio of work demonstrating your multi-channel writing skills (Required)
• 3-5 years of experience working within a creative department, either at an agency or on the client-side
• Experience with financial services or any highly regulated industry is a plus
• A working understanding of large matrixed organizations, and what it means to write for one
• Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PPT), G Suite (Docs, slides)

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with art directors, strategists, and other team members to develop multi-channel creative concepts that are on strategy and reflect the tone of the brand
• Distill complex technical information into conversational, easy-to-understand, engaging copy and content for various platforms, including websites, blogs, social media, email campaigns, infographics, collateral, case studies, video, whitepapers, etc
• Conduct thorough research on industry-related topics and current trends to generate ideas for new content
• Write copy from concept to completion based on input from client, agency team, and your own proactive research
• Take ownership of your projects from start to finish, maintaining a consistently high standard of work
• Be highly organized and able to manage multiple projects across multiple clients, regularly reporting their status to your project leads
• Collaborate with designers/art directors to determine the hierarchy of content and most effective, engaging way to communicate messaging
• Be able to work solo on some projects when needed with little handholding
• Regularly attend client meetings to better understand their brand and business and build trusting relationships
• Effectively present work to your supervisor, agency team and clients
• Embrace a team culture, built on positive, productive working relationships
