Summary

Join our team as a Corporate Accounting Manager and contribute to Rula's accounting excellence, technological innovation, and process improvement. You will be a key driver in scaling our accounting department, requiring strong business acumen and the ability to apply that knowledge. Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Corporate Accounting, you will play a vital role in the Corporate Accounting team, handling diverse accounting, finance, and compliance duties. We are seeking a results-oriented individual with a proven track record in corporate accounting. This role offers a fully remote work environment (US-based only) and a comprehensive benefits package.

Requirements

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • CPA certification required
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, with the ability to guide and mentor team members to ensure accurate accounting operations
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Corporate Accounting
  • Experience collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams
  • Experience participating in at least one financial statement audit cycle in an industry setting

Responsibilities

  • Enable Rulaโ€™s Accounting teams through accounting excellence, innovation through technology, and improving accounting processes
  • Deliver results and be a key driver in helping us scale our accounting department
  • Apply business knowledge to the accounting department
  • Be a key player in the Corporate Accounting team and have responsibility for a diverse range of accounting, finance, and compliance duties

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in healthcare or start-up environments
  • Strong passion for problem-solving and process improvement
  • Ability to represent the Accounting Team and clearly communicate the rationale behind accounting practices
  • Experience in public accounting
