Corporate Development Associate

Summary

This position requires a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in identifying and evaluating opportunities, executing transactions, and building relationships with industry leaders. You will lead pre-transaction diligence, assess strategic and financial benefits, and establish scalable processes to enhance Offchain Labs' corporate development capabilities. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical and communication skills and relevant experience in M&A or investments within crypto-native companies. Requirements

• 5 years of experience, with 2 years in crypto native companies
• Relevant experience in M&A or investments with having led at least one negotiation or deal end to end
• Very strong analytical and communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate acquisition and strategic partnership opportunities that support Offchain Labs' priorities
• Build relationships with blockchain founders, and industry leaders while maintaining a robust organic pipeline of opportunities
• Partner closely with internal stakeholders, including engineering, product, and ecosystem teams, to evaluate and prioritize growth opportunities aligned with Offchain Labs' mission
• Assess the strategic, technical, and financial benefits of potential acquisitions or investments. Drive internal alignment and build external consensus to secure buy-in from all relevant parties
• Lead pre-transaction diligence efforts, coordinating across technical, legal, financial, and operational teams to ensure thorough evaluation of opportunities
• Identify potential risks and synergies in transactions, proposing innovative solutions that maximize value for Offchain Labs and its ecosystem
• Establish scalable processes and develop strategies that enhance Offchain Labs' corporate development capabilities, keeping pace with the rapidly evolving blockchain industry
