Corporate Paralegal

Summary

Join Dunlap Bennett & Ludwig (DBL) as a Corporate Paralegal! This position, based in Vienna, VA, offers the flexibility of being in-office or fully remote (outside the commutable area). With 1-5 years of corporate law experience, you'll perform moderately complex legal research, draft legal documents, and assist attorneys. Strong organizational, communication, and attention-to-detail skills are essential. A Bachelor's Degree and Paralegal certification are preferred. Requirements

• Minimum of 1-5 years of relevant legal experience in corporate law
• Able to work in a capacity with strict privacy and confidentiality requirements inside and outside the firm
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel), Adobe, and SharePoint

Responsibilities

• Performs moderately complex legal research
• Writes preliminary drafts of simple legal memoranda and correspondence
• Responsible for assisting attorneys and partners in all aspects, including but not limited to preparing pleadings, daily court filings, drafting agreements, preparing trial notebooks, case management, and client liaison
• Assisting attorneys with reviewing/monitoring incoming correspondence and preparing outgoing correspondence
• Drafting written discovery requests and responses
• Maintaining case calendars
