Summary

Cresco Labs is seeking an experienced lawyer to join their legal department as Counsel, Commercial Operations. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of commercial legal experience with a preference for in-house experience. The role involves drafting and negotiating various complex commercial agreements, leveraging contract lifecycle management tools, providing legal advice to the business, partnering with cross-functional teams, and assisting with trademark review and other intellectual property tasks.

Requirements

• JD required and active license to practice
• 3-5 years of commercial legal experience with a preference for candidates with previous in-house experience

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate various complex commercial agreements, including MSAs, MSaaS, IP licensing agreements, staffing agreements, distribution agreements, sales agreements, and purchase agreements
• Leverage Cresco Labs’ contract lifecycle management tool, Ironclad, to automate legal processes and embed legal risk management into the tool to provide self-service functionality to the business
• Provide legal advice to the business in support of commercial contracting initiatives
• Partner with global cross-functional teams on various projects
• Collaborate with Cresco’s customer care team to help resolve customer satisfaction issues
