The job is for a Commercial Operations Manager at YPrime, who will support the proposal process for their West Coast-based Sales and Operations teams in the pharma and biotech industries. The role involves managing multiple proposals, providing expert protocol review, coordinating with teams, and identifying opportunities for improvement.


  • Minimum of 3+ years in clinical trial operations with a focus on either eCOA or IRT
  • Minimum of 1+ years of experience in supporting, leading, or developing proposals and responses to RFP/RFR/RFI requests


  • Support all aspects of YPrime’s proposal process
  • Serve as owner for assigned proposals, including subsequent revisions
  • Partner with Business Development to build and conduct customized product demonstrations
  • Provide expert protocol (and supporting document) review; capture project details within pricing tool to ensure solution scope matches the customer’s expectations
  • Coordinate with Sales and Operations teams to ensure that client requests are appropriately addressed in all proposals
  • Incorporate review comments, and prepare final proposal and/or RFP
  • Edit for clarity, grammar, accuracy, and consistent voice as well as make swift decisions without compromising integrity or timelines
  • Manage multiple proposals simultaneously
  • Maintain, continuously update, and improve all internal and client-specific proposal content and templates
  • Utilize YPrime technology to capture objective evidence, screen shots, or technical mockups to strengthen the proposal content
  • As needed, write clear, compelling, and compliant RFI and RFP responses by translating clinical protocol details within the proposal
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement related to proposal generation and supporting processes
  • Identify items that are behind schedule and barriers to progress and plan and implement effective and efficient problem-solving and corrective action plans

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent amount of related experience
  • Prior experience supporting business development teams
