Crypto Payments Specialist

Summary

Join our team and play a crucial role in processing and executing clients' cryptocurrency requests. You will manage cryptocurrency transactions, collaborate with liquidity providers and exchanges, and mitigate currency risks. This position requires close collaboration with compliance, legal, and security teams to ensure accurate record-keeping and effective financial management. You will also be responsible for maintaining liquidity levels and providing recommendations for risk mitigation and process improvement. Staying current on industry developments and regulatory changes is essential for success.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as finance, business administration or similar
• Proven experience in crypto transaction execution or a similar role within the financial or cryptocurrency industry
• Analytical and investigative skills, with high attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills
• High sense of personal accountability
• Fluent in English and Russian

Responsibilities

• Process and execute clients’ crypto requests, including funds conversion from fiat to crypto and execution to the dedicated wallet/account in collaboration with compliance, reconciliation and payment execution teams
• Implement and manage processes of cryptocurrency transactions on behalf of the related parties within the company
• Close communication and use with crypto liquidity providers, crypto exchanges and trading platforms
• Mitigate currency risk via hedging instruments and platforms
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including compliance, legal, and security, to conduct in-depth investigations
• Ensure timely and accurate entry of data into associated record-keeping tools, maintaining precise records for effective financial management
• Ensure required liquidity levels are met on the daily basis in cross-team collaboration
• Provide recommendations for mitigating risks and improving transaction monitoring processes
• Keep abreast of industry developments, regulatory changes, and emerging trends related to crypto transaction monitoring

Preferred Qualifications

• In-depth understanding of blockchain technology and various cryptocurrencies
• Familiarity with AML and KYC regulations and best practices
