Customer Service Agent

Summary

Join Instant Teams as a remote Customer Service Agent! This role is perfect for someone passionate about education and technology who wants to ensure a positive user experience. You will respond to customer inquiries via email and live chat, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with other teams. Previous customer service experience, especially in tech or education, is required, along with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. The position offers 20 hours per week with flexible hours, paid training, and a competitive hourly rate. While experience with Zendesk is preferred, it's not mandatory. Note that this position has location restrictions.

Requirements

• Previous experience in customer service, preferably in the technology or education sector
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet
• Empathy and patience when dealing with customers
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Comfortable with remote work and proficient in using communication tools like Intercom, Slack and Gmail

Responsibilities

• Respond to inbound customer support emails in a timely and professional manner
• Engage in live chat conversations with users using Intercom, providing real-time assistance and troubleshooting
• Follow up with customers in select cases to ensure their issues are fully resolved
• Maintain a deep understanding of Brisk's products and services to effectively assist users
• Document customer interactions and feedback to help improve our products and services
• Collaborate with the technical and product teams to report bugs and suggest enhancements based on customer feedback
• Stay up-to-date with the latest features and updates of Brisk's products to provide accurate information to customers

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Zendesk, or a similar CRM

Benefits

• 2 weeks of paid training between normal business hours PST
• 20 hours per week Minimum daily requirement of 2 hours (7 days a week) between the hours of 9am - 5pm PST
• The remaining 6 hours per week are flexible
• $18/hour
