Summary
Join SmithRx, a rapidly growing Health-Tech company, as their first Deal Desk team member! You will be the central hub ensuring accurate and structured deal details, bridging the gap between Sales, Proposals, and Contracting teams. Your primary goal is operational readiness for contracting and invoicing, ensuring all deal information is accurate and correctly recorded in systems like Salesforce and Ironclad. You will verify commercial details, own data integrity, speed up approvals, and partner with cross-functional teams. You will also identify process bottlenecks, drive automation, and capture competitor data. This role requires experience in a Deal Desk or similar role, proficiency with Salesforce, and strong analytical and communication skills.
Requirements
- 2-4+ years of experience in a Deal Desk, Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or Contract Management role, preferably within a high-growth environment
- Deep proficiency with CRM platforms is required; Salesforce experience is a must
- Experience with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) tools; Ironclad experience is highly preferred
- A fanatical attention to detail and a passion for data accuracy. You understand the downstream impact of incomplete or incorrect information
- Comfortable proactively communicating to drive clarity in “grey areas”
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to act as a trusted resource for a fast-paced team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to untangle complex deal structures and identify potential process gaps
- Ability to identify new deals we haven’t seen before, and proactively problem solve to ensure they’re captured and escalated when appropriate
- A proactive, ownership mindset. You can identify process gaps and are motivated to build solutions from the ground up
Responsibilities
- Act as the central checkpoint to verify all commercial details of a deal
- Ensure the information provided by the sales team is complete and work with Pricing and Proposals as partners to confirm deals offered and won
- Own the quality and accuracy of deal information entering our core systems, including Salesforce and Ironclad
- Be the source of truth for deal arrangements
- By managing the data validation process, you will speed up approvals and help get contracts in front of clients faster
- Partner closely with Sales, Pricing & Proposals, and RevOps to map, define, and enforce the deal engagement process and associated SLAs
- Actively identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the deal execution process
- Work with business systems partners to drive Salesforce or other tool updates to automate these processes over time, increasing scalability
- Systematically capture competitor data from deals and partner with stakeholders to transform it into a structured database the company can use to refine its strategy
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the PBM, health tech, or a related medical/healthcare industry is a significant plus
- Experience using a CPQ or similar tool is a significant plus
