Summary

The Delivery Manager is a long-term (12+ months) remote position responsible for overseeing the delivery of products or solutions using Agile methodologies. The role involves assisting product teams, coordinating dependencies, service onboarding, and providing production support.

Requirements

  • Master's or bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, system analysis, or a related field of study, or equivalent experience
  • 7 years of experience leading software development projects or products
  • 5 years of experience in Agile software development as a ScrumMaster, Product Owner, or equivalent
  • Onsite-offshore coordination experience
  • Servant-leadership, organizational, and motivational strengths
  • PMI-ACP or ScrumMaster certifications preferred; PMP certification is a plus
  • Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) certification preferred
  • Global cultural orientation
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills, and consulting, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • High level of organizational and time management skills
  • Flexibility in juggling competing priorities and changing expectations

Responsibilities

  • Overall delivery of product or solution work
  • Assist the Product Owner/Product Manager in defining the product roadmap and translating it into workable items for the team
  • Deliver products and projects using Agile methodologies
  • Help balance the prioritization of technical debt against new feature development
  • Lead the product team in Agile processes by organizing and facilitating standard Agile/Scrum ceremonies
  • Track key Agile/Scrum metrics and leverage them to assist in team performance
  • Support the team in evaluating, modifying, and improving their internal processes for delivery
  • Protect the team from outside interruptions and distractions to ensure continuous delivery
  • Use appropriate tools (e.g., Azure DevOps) to assist team tracking and efficiency
  • Track and monitor dependencies with other product and development teams
  • Work with the Product Owner to ensure change management and training activities are completed
  • Assist in the triage, tracking, prioritization, and planning of production issues
  • Operationalize epics and features, working with Application and Platform Management teams and business stakeholders
  • Manage vendors engaged in epics, ensuring integration with policies and processes
  • Coordinate with the Systems Team to ensure vendor solutions are tested appropriately
  • Perform as a project manager across all major project phases
  • Participate in appropriate Agile practices, including Scrum of Scrums
  • Support SAFe activities and ceremonies, including Inspect and Adapt, Sprint Review, and PI Planning
