Summary

Join Appsilon, a rapidly growing software house and consulting firm, as a Delivery Manager specializing in data-driven projects for pharmaceutical and biotech clients. You will oversee project execution, ensuring client satisfaction, team success, and business growth. This full-time, remote position offers flexible hours (with a requirement for overlap with both Polish and US time zones), a competitive salary (19-25k PLN B2B, with options for EUR or USD), and excellent benefits. You will manage teams (2-14 people), advise clients on implementation processes, and build strong client relationships. The ideal candidate possesses at least 4 years of relevant experience, domain knowledge in the Pharma/BioTech sector, and strong communication skills.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role (Delivery Manager, Product Owner, Project Manager, etc.)
  • Documented successes in delivering projects for the Pharma/BioTech sector
  • Domain knowledge - fulfillment of at least 3 of the following conditions: a) Knowledge of the basics of molecular biology and bioinformatics, b) Knowledge of data analysis tools in clinical trials, c) Knowledge of clinical trial data standards (CDISC), d) Understanding of data flow in clinical trials
  • Familiarity with modern software development processes
  • Experience in managing teams in an international environment
  • Willingness to travel (approx. 4 times a year)
  • Experience with remote work and a remote-first work culture
  • High communication and interpersonal skills
  • Openness to collaborating with clients from Europe and the USA

Responsibilities

  • Support the client throughout the project by providing advice on the implementation process
  • Help clients achieve their intended results
  • Question client plans to find the optimal approach
  • Escalate risks in a timely manner
  • Ensure client satisfaction by exceeding client expectations through delivering exceptional value
  • Understand the client's goals in the project
  • Know how to measure the business impact of the project by the client
  • Deliver the best client experience
  • Build relationships with clients by building long-term trust and relationships
  • Offer additional value, proactive insights, and personalized attention
  • Solve specific technical issues
  • Share experience in clinical trials
  • Hold regular meetings with clients and discuss their challenges
  • Visit clients on-site
  • Ensure project continuity by ensuring client success, resulting in further cooperation
  • Gain a thorough understanding of the client's organizational structure and decision-making process
  • Manage the team by directly managing a team (2-14 people)
  • Support career development and identify talent
  • Respond to insufficient employee performance
  • Manage the project/product - i.e., if necessary, act as Project/Product Manager, manage the backlog and communication with the client, and clarify requirements and support software engineers

Preferred Qualifications

English C1 (B2/C1 preferred)
