Developer Advocate in Turkey

Summary

The Casper Association is seeking a creative technologist with blockchain experience to join their team as a Global Developer Advocate. In this role, the individual will assist in growing and supporting developer communities, maintaining technical knowledge, representing the organization at industry events, and creating content for the Casper platform.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
• Excellent communication skills in English: verbal and written
• Based in Europe
• 5+ years working on production-level projects in rapid iteration, high-quality environments
• At least one production project successfully delivered at a mid-to-senior level engineering or architecture level of responsibility
• Comfortable working across the full development stack including front-end web, back-end, and databases
• Understanding of the blockchain ecosystem, experience of delivering blockchain projects including dApp and Smart Contract development
• A track record of, or strong aptitude and desire for, speaking at technical conferences, preparing technical training documentation and tutorials
• A growth mindset with a strong customer focus and a commitment to excel and lead by example

Responsibilities

• Maintain an expert-level technical knowledge of the platform
• Grow and support vibrant developer communities
• Represent the Casper Association at industry events
• Innovate tools and features on the Casper platform
• Create blog posts, podcasts and articles about the Casper platform
• Expand technical documentation
• Represent the organization online
• Work with technical writers and engineers to create code examples and proofs of concept
• Give feedback to product and customer success teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Rust is strongly preferred
• Experience with Github and contributing to open-source projects
• Previous experience in Agile teams
• Any European language skills (Polish, French, German, Italian)
