Summary
Join HealthCorps, a national non-profit, as their Development and Communications Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for development and fundraising, strategy development, data analysis and reporting, and brand management. Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years in development and/or development writing, marketing, or communications
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Development or related field
- Technical Proficiency: Expertise in marketing tools such as Google Analytics and social media platforms
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to create persuasive and compelling written materials
- Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret data and metrics to improve marketing performance
- Autonomy: Demonstrated success working independently in a strategic capacity
- Collaboration: Effective at working across teams and managing external relationships
- Time Management: Ability to effectively balance multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Passion for Addressing Health Disparities: A strong commitment to addressing health disparities in community settings, particularly in education and/or youth development
- Cultural Competence: Ability to effectively and respectfully communicate, collaborate, and connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds, identities, and experiences
Responsibilities
- Work with the VP of Development to craft Annual Appeal letters, biannual program updates, sponsorship presentations, and other fundraising materials as requested
- Assist in drafting Letters of Intent (LOIs) or other introductory materials for prospective funders
- Conduct research on foundations and/or corporate funders
- Work with other members of the Development team to maintain HealthCorps CRM, including data entry, report creating, and updating of profile details; serve as primary point of contact for any edits to CRM entries submitted by other members of the HealthCorps team
- Collaborate with social media and website consultants to design and implement a marketing strategy that aligns with organizational objectives
- Identify target audiences and optimize campaigns to enhance brand awareness and generate leads
- Work closely with other departments to ensure alignment of marketing efforts with organizational goals
- Manage relationships with external consultants and partners
- Design monthly reports using a variety of engagement metrics to track performance and share insights with leadership
- Leverage data to inform and refine marketing strategies
- Maintain and enhance the organization’s brand identity and presence
- Ensure consistency and alignment in messaging across all marketing materials
- Work closely with other departments to ensure alignment of marketing efforts with organizational goals
- Manage relationships with external consultants and partners
Preferred Qualifications
- Preferred experience working in and with racially, ethnically, and socioeconomically marginalized communities
- Language Skills: Bilingual proficiency is a plus
Benefits
- This is a full-time, salaried position and you will be offered a comprehensive benefits package
- Yearly compensation for the role ranges from $55,000-$70,000 depending on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience and location
