Summary
Join WatchGuard as a Development Channel Account Manager (DevCAM) and contribute to the sales team by promoting and selling security products nationally to assigned partners. You will be responsible for quoting, training, forecasting, and tracking sales opportunities, reporting to the Country Manager, and collaborating with the Sales Engineer and marketing teams. Success will be measured by achieving transaction, growth, and retention goals. As a DevCAM, you will maintain and improve partnerships to drive sales and revenue growth, playing a crucial role in channel relationships and cybersecurity solution adoption. The position requires experience in two-tier/channel sales and a history of sales excellence. A bachelor's degree is preferred.
Requirements
- Experience with two-tier/channel sales ecosystem required
- History of sales excellence with national partner accounts and major accounts
- History of consistent plan development and quota achievement
- Strong presentation and written skills
- Ability to self-manage and work remotely
- Must be located in assigned territory
- Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM
- Fluent in English language
- 4 years experience in direct and indirect sales in related industry
Responsibilities
- Strive towards the territory quota attainment, retention, and growth/development of active partners
- Maintain regular contact with partners to ensure satisfaction and continued success
- Partner with the Sales Engineer to generate new business and develop current customers through the partner network
- Support partners on standard methodologies and use of WatchGuard, including training & event support
- Accurately forecast transacting partner transitions by quarter
- Be knowledgeable of all WatchGuard products, services, and internal sales tools
- Other duties and projects assigned
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in network/cyber security space preferred
- Bachelorβs degree or equivalent training in business, sales, or marketing and advantage
