Summary

Join The Movement Cooperative (TMC) as their energetic and highly-organized Development Operations Admin! This role involves managing the CRM system, ensuring data integrity, and providing high-level data and operations management to the Development Team. You will design and execute CRM queries, generate reports, and track fundraising progress. Responsibilities also include project management for development initiatives, overseeing internal systems, managing relationships with fiscal sponsors, and leading donor prospecting and cultivation strategies. Requirements

  • 1-3 years project management related experience, with knowledge of Asana, Notion, or similar project management tools preferred
  • 1-3 years experience working in or with progressive movement CRM management, with knowledge of Virtuous, Raisers Edge, Airtable, or similar CRM preferred
  • Experience working on development/philanthropic teams
  • Experience prospecting foundations and donors
  • Knowledge of progressive foundations
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
  • Strong writing and interpersonal skills with ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Experience working in a virtual environment
  • Prolonged periods of working on a computer
  • While TMC’s workplace is remote, we require staff members to reside in and work in the continental United States

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the configuration, maintenance, and overall administration of the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all donor and partner records
  • Perform timely and accurate entry of all new donor and gift data, ensuring comprehensive and up-to-date records that support donor engagement and organizational compliance
  • Create and maintain online donation forms and campaign pages within the CRM to support digital fundraising initiatives, including webinars and special campaigns
  • Design and execute complex CRM queries and generate detailed reports to support strategic fundraising and donor engagement efforts
  • Track and analyze fundraising progress, providing clear and actionable insights to stakeholders to ensure alignment with revenue goals and donor stewardship priorities
  • Develop and manage customized dashboards that monitor performance metrics for the development team, CXO and CEO, including prospecting, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship activities
  • Ensure timely and transparent reporting of fundraising outcomes to internal teams and external donors, reinforcing accountability and impact-driven communications
  • Lead project management for development initiatives, ensuring effective coordination with Communications and Finance on campaigns, grant budgets, database reconciliations, and donor engagement efforts
  • Oversee internal systems and workflows for prospecting, cultivation, and stewardship to ensure consistent execution aligned with fundraising strategies
  • Manage the organization’s relationship with its fiscal sponsor, including ongoing communications, reporting, and compliance requirements
  • Track and maintain grant reporting schedules and deadlines, ensuring timely, accurate submissions and collaboration across departments
  • Lead the execution of donor prospecting, cultivation, and stewardship strategies, ensuring effective use of internal tools and technology to streamline operations
  • Proactively identify and research potential institutional and foundation funders to expand TMC’s funding pipeline
  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive prospect profiles and strategic insights to support the Development team, CEO, and CXO in donor engagement efforts
  • Conduct targeted research on prospects surfaced by the Development team, executive leadership, and other TMC staff, ensuring thorough vetting and alignment with organizational priorities
  • Represent the organization at conferences, donor meetings, and off-site events
