DevOps Intern

Summary

The job is for a DevOps intern at neon, a fintech startup in Zurich offering a 6-month paid internship to fresh graduates and senior students. The intern will assist in implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, collaborate with development teams, support cloud infrastructure management, troubleshoot issues, contribute to IaC using tools like Terraform, Ansible or CNRM, work actively on Kubernetes cluster, document processes, and engage in learning opportunities.

Requirements

• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash or Go
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate with development teams to streamline deployment workflows
• Support the management and configuration of cloud infrastructure using tools such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform (knowing any of these is a plus)
• Support troubleshooting of issues to ensure optimal uptime and reliability
• Contribute to the development of infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible or CNRM
• Work actively on Kubernetes cluster
• Document processes, procedures and best practices to facilitate knowledge sharing
• Actively engage in learning opportunities, including training sessions and workshops to expand knowledge and skills
