You will support local content creators by managing website maintenance, contests, content marketing, newsletters, reporting, app alerts, cross-posting, and content improvement. Requirements

  • Five years of online editorial experience with exceptional writing, editing, SEO skills
  • Strong grasp of how to use popular social media networks (like Facebook Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube) to promote content
  • Be a consummate multi-tasker (with excellent communication skills) who is understanding of the ever-changing culture of the internet
  • Ability to prioritize and focus under fast-paced pressure while managing multiple tasks and projects
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, editorially and technologically
  • Proficiency in the use of digital technology, including online publishing platforms
  • An understanding of the ever-changing culture of the internet
  • Have great communication skills, obsessive attention to detail, and a sense of humor

Responsibilities

  • Update show schedules, navigation menus and dynamic leads
  • Assist markets with building out local digital contests
  • Schedule and automate Facebook promotion of evergreen regional content
  • Update and check newsletter feeds
  • Build analytics reports and diagnose issues with Content Dashboards
  • Send app alerts for syndicated shows and group contests
  • Monitor traffic for real-time surges and cross posting regionally
  • Monitor traffic for real-time surges and optimize for revenue (adding stronger galleries, adding linkbacks, copyediting, etc.)
