Digital Designer

Summary

Join our team as a Graphic & Web Digital Designer for a 4-week remote contract (March 10th - April 11th, PST hours). You will design and develop visually engaging Canva web page templates, collaborating with marketing and content teams. This role requires proven experience designing Canva templates (portfolio needed), strong design skills, proficiency in Canva Pro, and excellent communication. Requirements

• Proven experience designing Canva web page templates (portfolio required)
• Must have a portfolio when applying
• Strong understanding of layout, typography, color theory, and UX/UI best practices
• Proficiency in Canva Pro, with a deep understanding of its website creation and customization features
• Basic knowledge of web usability and mobile responsiveness
• Ability to follow branding guidelines while bringing fresh, creative ideas
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or with a team

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Canva web page templates that are visually engaging, easy to customize, and optimized for various industries
• Work closely with the marketing and content teams to ensure templates align with brand guidelines and target audience needs
• Create web templates using Canva’s website builder
• Ensure templates are responsive and look great on both desktop and mobile views
• Research design trends and incorporate best practices into template designs
• Organize and maintain template files and style guides for efficient workflow
• Collaborate with clients or internal teams to customize and refine designs based on feedback
