Requirements

  • Ability to travel up to 60% of the time
  • Knowledge of AI and what a district needs to do to support students in AI Literacy
  • Experience working with senior leaders in district and state contexts
  • Partnership development experience and/or sales in an educational context
  • Ability to motivate and influence senior leaders to action
  • Ability to lead and manage a team to high performance
  • Knowledge of K-12 school systems and how they operate and fund partnerships
  • Outstanding management skills with a focus on empathetic, people-first leadership
  • Given our highly collaborative and team oriented environment; excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
  • Ability to operate in a start-up and ambiguous environment
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities amid ambiguity and to leverage creative thinking and resourcefulness
  • Proficiency in Google Suite and Slack with the ability to produce high quality work products

Responsibilities

  • Develop our programs strategy including geographic expansion strategy, services programming roadmap, pricing strategy and fee for service strategy
  • Work with executive leadership to develop and execute org-level programmatic strategy, including informing decisions about earned and philanthropic revenue goals
  • Manage Programs team and provide team and individual leadership aligned to overall organizational and team goals
  • Design and implement impact and sustainability metrics and tracking for services and support team accountability to those measures
  • Directly manage attaining earned revenue goals
  • Manage feedback loops from partners to support development of new programs and refinement of existing ones
  • Develop and manage national programs including Trailblazer teacher fellowship and Professional Learning Communities
  • Develop and manage non-district partnerships with nonprofits who support AI Literacy in communities we do not directly serve
  • Stay up to date on the latest policy research and guidance in order to provide cutting-edge advisory to aiEDU’s partners
  • Provide strategic advising to senior educators in states and districts across the country
  • Develop and lead Communities of Practice with Superintendents, cabinet level officials, and Principals
  • Provide expert support to all programs leads as they engage with system leaders
