Summary
Join Zepz Group, a leading global remittance company, as the Business Development & FX Lead for Anglophone Africa. - Strong business development & negotiation skills / experience

Responsibilities
- Overall in-charge of the business development & FX activities for Anglophone Africa send and receive (markets)
- Identify, propose, coordinate and execute network, FX and banking partner expansion and optimisation opportunities in the entire region, to include potential new send and receive markets
- Ensure that the market launches are executed seamlessly with the partner (overseeing or even facilitating overall entry to such markets)
- Conversely, identify, plan and coordinate any market closures necessary to contribute to the overall efficiencies of the business
- Develop and own business plans for new initiatives
- Negotiate both standard and complex first-in-kind deals
- Own FX PnL for the region working closely with FX traders on panel expansion and developing structured partnerships
- Manage partners to ensure they are delivering on key business objectives. Hold periodic business reviews and act as an escalation path
- Regularly report to ExCo and relevant senior management stakeholders for any and all of the covered send and receive markets in the region
- Regulatory: Concurrently serve as, or oversee, country director based on business needs
- Perform ministerial and operational tasks necessary to run the business (e.g. periodic compliance and risk reviews and meetings, reports, others)
- Ensure overall compliance to regulatory requirements in all send and receive markets in close coordination with the compliance, data privacy and legal teams; As required, interface with partners, governments and regulators
- Manage a team of two (to date) covering the region
- Ensure proper cadence, monitoring and execution of company goals
- Oversee planning and timely execution of team and individual OKRs
- Additionally, foster teamwork and cohesiveness with the wider Africa teams
