Summary

Join EarthDaily Analytics (EDA) as the Director, Business Development, AI and Big Tech and contribute to building a more sustainable planet. You will develop and execute a global strategy for engaging with technology, AI, and consulting companies. This role involves identifying new sales opportunities, shaping customer requirements, and developing capture strategies. You will work closely with the CRO, Sales team, and Product Development teams to achieve these goals. The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience in business development within technology markets, particularly in AI and Big Tech. This remote position offers competitive compensation and flexible time off, with substantial global travel required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in science, technology, business, or relevant field
  • 15-20 years’ experience in business development in technology markets, or in developing business in the AI, Strategic, Big Tech, and/or consulting markets
  • Established reputation and contacts in the technology and geospatial sectors
  • Senior business management experience, record of delivering results in sales and/or business development engagements
  • Experience with large corporate capture practices and processes

Responsibilities

  • Develop Global AI, Foundation Model, and Big Tech BD and Sales Strategy Working in partnership to ensure alignment with the Chief Revenue Officer as well as the entire Senior Executive team/Line of Business leadership, conceptualize and develop a comprehensive global strategy for capturing business in technology markets
  • Work with product management and engineering teams to identify and communicate technology market requirements, product positioning, and pricing strategies
  • Develop a plan for working with large integrators, consulting firms, and other indirect channels to advance EDA interests in the technology sector
  • Identify, Engage with, and Progress AI and Big Tech Opportunities Use contacts, personal networks, and research to segment, prioritize, and identify long-term business development opportunities that can lead to procurement of EarthDaily Analytics products and services in the AI and technology markets
  • Engage directly with AI and Big Tech customers through a mix of remote and direct contacts to evangelize the use of EDA products and services to fulfill AI and Big Tech industry requirements
  • Develop and steer business development opportunities towards the initiation of customer procurement cycles. Engage with customers to influence the allocation of budgets and technical priorities to advance EDA sales opportunities
  • Work with the CRO and the VP Global Sales and his team to move business development opportunities into sales cycles to be closed by the sales team
  • Evangelize and Market EDA Solutions to the AI and Big Tech market Work with the CRO and VP Marketing to develop strategies and marketing activities to promote awareness of EDA solutions for the AI, Strategic and Big Tech markets
  • Evangelize EDA solutions at tradeshows and other technology industry related events
  • Serve as the EDA AI and Big Tech expert at external marketing events

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree
  • Experience in the space and/or geospatial business
  • Knowledge of satellite data applications and customer needs

Benefits

  • Base Salary Range: $140,000-$210,000 USD annually
  • Variable pay up to 40% based on the achievement of corporate and team/individual performance objectives
