Summary
Join Eyelit Technologies as their detail-oriented and driven Director of Business Development to spearhead revenue growth. You will identify profitable business opportunities, develop long-term growth strategies, and improve operations. The role involves client and advisor meetings, partner communication, and assessing business risks through data analysis. Success requires strong business acumen, persuasive communication, and negotiation skills. You will lead prospect outreach, cultivate key relationships, and thoroughly understand Eyelit's offerings. This position may involve international travel.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in business development, inside sales, or sales management experience in a B2B SaaS sales environment
- Proven business development, sales, or marketing experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage C-level executives and decision-makers
- Experience with modern marketing automation tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo, LinkedIn, and online research tools
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office productivity applications
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Effective communication and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Lead initial outreach to prospects with prospecting strategies and cultivate relationships with key decision-makers at targeted accounts
- Establish strong working relationships with channel partners as well as the Eyelit sales and marketing teams
- Gain a thorough understanding of Eyelit's offerings to identify profitable business opportunities
- Communicate the business value of complex, strategic solutions to business and IT executives clearly and concisely
- Determine the prospect's interest in and recommend appropriate Eyelit product and service options
- Apply independent judgment to qualify and validate inbound and outbound leads generated by phone, web, email, corporate events, and direct mail campaigns
- Take part in sales opportunity reviews; collaborate with internal sales stakeholders to advance opportunities
- Support marketing efforts by presenting market research to marketing directors and suggesting strategies to expand market reach
- Assessing marketing, business development, sales, and partner operations, and recommend improvements as needed
- Research emerging industry trends and recommend new company offerings to satisfy customers' needs
- Present strategic growth opportunities to company executives and management
