You will lead a team, design and execute communication programs, shape the company narrative, and collaborate with internal and external partners. You will measure and improve communication effectiveness. This role requires extensive experience in communications and PR, including leadership experience in a public company within the tech/SaaS or HR industry. The ideal candidate will possess strong media relationships, expertise in financial communications, and a proven track record of success in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- 10+ years experience in communications/PR, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Strong media relationships
- Broad understanding and experience navigating the complex and ever-evolving media landscape
- Proven experience navigating crises and complex situations
- Expertise in financial communications
- Strong ownership of work
- Proven track-record working on proactive and reactive communications initiatives involving crisis, policy, corporate and financial matters
- Experience managing and working on projects in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional verbal communications and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities
- Lead a team focused on corporate communications
- Design and execute comprehensive communication programs that resonate across various functions, both internally and externally
- Play a pivotal role in shaping the companyโs narrative. Create clear and compelling messaging around products, visions, milestones, policies and more
- Liaise with agency partners across the world to ensure alignment with Deelโs mission and vision
- Collaborate closely with senior leaders, including C-suite executives to curate impactful moments and narratives
- Foster media relationships with top-tier and trade publications
- Lead communications strategies through routine issues and crisis situations, ensuring that messaging is thoughtful and effective
- Align communications strategies with the broader company roadmap to drive collaboration
- Measure and improve the effectiveness of messaging, channels and practices
Preferred Qualifications
Public company and tech/SaaS or HR industry experience preferred
