Summary

As Director of Events, you will lead our events strategy and execution, driving event initiatives that contribute to company pipeline, revenue, and brand visibility.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in B2B event management
  • Proven experience leading both in-person and virtual/hybrid events
  • Experience managing end-to-end event processes, including budget planning, logistics, and post-event analysis
  • Strong understanding of event marketing principles and how events tie into sales pipelines and revenue growth
  • Leadership experience, including managing and developing high-performing teams
  • Proven history of collaborating across multiple disciplines to meet event goals (marketing, creative, operations, sales, finance etc.)
  • Experience in building and scaling large member communities in-person and virtually
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, with strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Creativity and problem-solving skills, with a track record of developing innovative event strategies

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the creation of the annual events strategy, calendar, and budget aligned with company goals
  • Lead the strategic direction across multiple types of events and activations
  • Responsible for the overall management and execution of the events strategy
  • Implement and oversee tools and processes to measure event ROI
  • Lead and mentor the events team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment
  • Manage relationships with external partners, sponsors, and vendors
  • Create event experiences that resonate with customers, prospects, and stakeholders
  • Act as the primary liaison between the events team and other departments
  • Stay updated on the latest trends in event technology, formats, and attendee engagement strategies
