Director, Meetings and Events

Summary

The Director of Meetings and Events at Nextech is responsible for managing and maintaining systems and processes required to support event planning, execution, and reporting. They will lead event strategy & execution, event planning and contracting, tradeshow and booth management, lead and promotion management, budget management, risk management & innovation, and provide direct supervision to the events manager.

Requirements

• Event Management: At least 5 years of proven experience in handling corporate meetings and tradeshows, demonstrating strong leadership in large-scale events
• Multitasking & Team Collaboration
• Vendor Relations & RFP Expertise
• Innovative Mindset
• Tech Proficiency: Solid knowledge of event registration systems and tradeshow technologies
• Strong Communication

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with event technology and integration with Salesforce and Hubspot
• Experience in negotiating, planning and directing software users conferences and tradeshows +1000 people
• Experience in managing tradeshow schedule and fulfillment center for +100 event tradeshow schedule
