Director of Accounting

Requirements

• Possess a professional qualification in IFRS (e.g., CPA, ACCA, or equivalent)
• Have 10+ years of post-qualified experience, ideally within a Big 4 audit firm or in a senior financial reporting role
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of IFRS standards and technical accounting topics
• Possess exceptional analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working across departments and with external stakeholders
• Show a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines
• Have experience in managing internal controls and compliance monitoring
• Be proficient in accounting software and financial systems

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end global accounting close process, including ownership of the monthly consolidated income statement, balance sheet, and cashflow statement
• Manage the IFRS 15 revenue recognition process in conjunction with the senior revenue accountant
• Act as the primary liaison with auditors for the global consolidated audit
• Ensure compliance with IFRS principles, internal controls, and monitoring activities related to the accounting close process
• Manage the global balance sheet reconciliation completion and review process
• Oversee error-free accounting entries and assist in preparing accounting policy documentation to enhance internal controls
• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders on key business transactions, including debt financing, R&D capitalization, commission reporting, and revenue recognition
• Manage the R&D capitalization process with overseas subsidiaries in Israel and China
• Manage the global intercompany matrix and reconciliation process
• Drive improvements to accounting systems, procedures, and department goal-setting processes
