Requirements

  • A passion for scaling business processes through technology and driving business value through innovative solutions
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in IT or Operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing business applications
  • Expertise: Strong knowledge of enterprise applications such as Salesforce.com, NetSuite, and other cloud-based SaaS solutions
  • Experience in project management, with a proven ability to deliver complex projects on time and within budget
  • Solid understanding of data security, governance, and compliance
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Skills: Strategic thinking, problem-solving, and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the overall strategy for the business applications portfolio, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and key stakeholders to understand business processes and deliver technology solutions that drive efficiency, innovation, and growth
  • Identify emerging trends and technologies that can support organizational goals and foster business transformation
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of business applications, including selection, implementation, integration, support, and continuous improvement
  • Ensure all applications meet security, compliance, and performance standards
  • Provide technical expertise and architectural guidance for complex projects and initiatives
  • Manage, mentor, and develop the Business Applications team, providing leadership, guidance, and professional development opportunities
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation within the team
  • Manage relationships with vendors and third-party service providers to ensure cost-effective and high-quality solutions
  • Leverage partners to drive more value to the business from our technology stack
  • Lead the execution of complex application projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
  • Implement best practices in application development, testing, support, and change management to ensure smooth transitions
  • Drive adoption of best practices in application management and continuously assess the effectiveness of business systems
  • Proactively monitor system performance and address issues to minimize downtime and optimize efficiency
