Summary

TechFlow is seeking an Energy-Focused Business Development Director to drive initiatives in Federal Energy and Mobility sectors. The role requires a strong understanding of federal government's acquisition processes, experience in business development, and expertise in electric vehicle charging infrastructure, microgrids, battery storage, or emerging energy technologies. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
  • 4+ years’ experience in an Energy and Mobility Business Development role with successful performance of annual revenue and sales targets
  • Experience with the US government's acquisition process (FAR) and engagement with procurement officers, executives, and decision-makers
  • Experience with the entire business development lifecycle from qualification through contract award
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Secret clearance

Responsibilities

  • Develop TechFlow’s Federal Energy and Mobility Solutions business development pipeline, driving strategic growth initiatives and fostering its expansion through proactive relationship cultivation and opportunity identification
  • Develop overall capture strategy for the pursuit of opportunities; develop value propositions, discriminators, and differentiators; identify customer decision-makers, perform competitive assessments, assist in identifying teaming suppliers, and develop price-to-win assessments
  • Develop opportunity capture and campaign plans drawing on successful experience across the business development lifecycle for federal Energy and Mobility capabilities and solutions
  • Drive technical and acquisition client call plans and other outreach efforts to qualify and inform opportunity pursuit decisions

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of project implementation experience
  • Existing, leverageable client relationships that can generate immediate contracts for energy or mobility-related projects while other pipelines are developed
  • Prior military or federal client experience
