Join LearnWorlds as their Director of Content Strategy & SEO to lead organic growth across multiple channels. This high-impact role involves developing and executing content strategies aligned with business goals and SEO priorities, leading SEO across traditional SERPs and GenAI, building and managing an editorial calendar, overseeing content production workflows, owning CMS and website governance, optimizing internal content processes, partnering with other marketing teams, measuring content effectiveness, staying ahead of industry shifts, leading a small team, and ensuring high-quality, consistent, on-brand messaging. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in content marketing and SEO, with at least 5 years in a leadership role in a SaaS or high-growth tech environment. Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in content marketing and SEO, with at least 5 years in a leadership or strategic role in a SaaS or high-growth tech environment
- Proven success in developing SEO-led content strategies that drive organic traffic, MQLs, and pipeline
- Deep understanding of SEO mechanics including on-page, technical SEO, structured data, site architecture, and content optimization
- Experience managing website content and performance via modern CMS platforms (e.g., Webflow, WordPress, Contentful)
- Strong editorial judgment, ability to create and evaluate high-quality content across multiple formats and personas
- Skilled in analytics, SEO tools (GA4, GSC, Ahrefs, SEMrush), and content performance measurement frameworks
- Experience with content governance, QA processes, and scalable operations across internal and external teams
- Comfortable collaborating cross-functionally with designers, PMMs, growth teams, and sales stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a content strategy that aligns with LearnWorlds’ business goals, SEO priorities, and ICPs across multiple segments and use cases
- Lead SEO across all fronts: traditional SERPs, GenAI and LLM visibility, content schema, technical optimization, and content performance tracking
- Build and manage an editorial calendar across blog, landing pages, glossaries, templates, resource hubs, and partner content
- Oversee content production workflows, manage freelancers and agencies, and ensure quality, consistency, and on-brand messaging across all assets
- Own CMS and website governance, collaborating with design, growth, and product marketing to improve UX, structure, content discoverability, and conversion
- Define and optimize internal content ops processes: briefing, editing, publishing, QA, distribution, and refresh cycles
- Partner with paid media, lifecycle, and product marketing teams to amplify content through paid, owned, and earned channels
- Use data to measure content effectiveness across acquisition, engagement, conversion, and revenue impact; present insights to senior stakeholders
- Stay ahead of industry shifts in search behavior, algorithm updates, LLM integration, and AI-assisted content frameworks
- Lead and grow a small team, while setting scalable systems and standards that enable high-volume, high-impact content output
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with optimizing content for AI/LLM indexing, structured data markup, and conversational search interfaces
- Working knowledge of how Gen AI tools and AI Overviews (e.g., Google’s SGE, ChatGPT search) are reshaping the SEO landscape
- Experience in category creation, narrative development, or brand-led content expansion
- Understanding of product-led growth funnels and the role of content across trial, onboarding, and in-app engagement
- Exposure to localization, international SEO, and multi-language content strategy
- Experience contributing to or owning knowledge base, glossary, or template library development with an SEO-first lens
