Summary

Join Komodo Health as the head of the forward deployed engineering function to set strategy for Komodo's solutions and provide technical and people leadership. You will have ultimate accountability for delivery of Komodo's products and platforms, including stewardship of culture of collaboration and trust.

Requirements

  • A deep understanding of how cross-functional teams work at a software product company
  • Extensive management experience of large, cross-functional teams including previous direct management of technical functions (Engineering, Data Science, etc.)
  • Experience with some combination of cloud infrastructure, data pipeline development, AWS managed services and working knowledge of a modern programming language (Python preferred), data pipeline engineering, relational database design, data science workflows, web platform development, API design, or distributed systems
  • Experience leading recruiting initiatives, as well as growing and organizing engineering teams
  • Ability to work as part of an agile collaborative team in a fast-paced environment including strong experiences with continuous delivery product development lifecycle, capacity planning, and effective resource utilization

Responsibilities

  • Work with key stakeholders across Commercial, Data, Product, and Engineering teams to continuously iterate on Komodo's product / platform / solutions roadmap
  • Collaborate with members of the Technical Solutions Leadership Team and other cross-functional leadership teams to optimize how we deliver, service, and support Komodo's solutions
  • Implement process and/or organizational changes necessary to realize improvements in efficiency, effectiveness, and customer satisfaction for solution delivery
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to members of the forward deployed engineering team in both technical and people management situations, especially in support of hitting corporate objectives and hiring targets
  • Partner with our Customer's technical leaders to develop and deliver against specific requirements with Komodo's solutions
