Summary

The job is for a Director of Development Strategy and Support at PlayStation, a global leader in entertainment. Requirements

  • Minimum of [8+] years of games industry experience, in a leadership role in game production or development project management
  • Ideally your game development and publishing experience covers traditional single player games as well as GaaS/Live Service games, including post-launch
  • Ability to review & analyze development stage deliverables; creative, financial, and business related
  • Excellent and personable communicator; with a track record of engaging partners across multiple departments and teams
  • Strong presentation skills and experience collaborating and facilitating communications with global teams across different time zones and all levels of the organization
  • Highly proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc. (and ideally their Google Suite counterparts)

Responsibilities

  • Drive, manage and facilitate the global portfolio title review process across PlayStation Studios
  • Foster positive and collaborative working relationships with development teams, executive leadership, and support groups
  • Pro-actively monitor the portfolio of games in development at PlayStation Studios
  • Recommend and help drive solutions, opportunities, and mitigate risks based on title review and assessment
  • Continuously develop, refine, and implement process improvements
  • Develop and use operational KPI’s focused on increased process maturity
  • Maintain a knowledgebase of best practices and metrics that teams can use to approach their challenges from different perspectives

Preferred Qualifications

  • Education: bachelor’s degree or greater
  • Project Management Certification
