Summary

The job is for a Director of Development Strategy and Support at PlayStation, a global leader in entertainment. The role involves managing the global portfolio title review process across PlayStation Studios, fostering collaborative relationships, and driving process improvements. The candidate should have extensive experience in game development, strong communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Requirements

• Minimum of [8+] years of games industry experience, in a leadership role in game production or development project management
• Ideally your game development and publishing experience covers traditional single player games as well as GaaS/Live Service games, including post-launch
• Ability to review & analyze development stage deliverables; creative, financial, and business related
• Excellent and personable communicator; with a track record of engaging partners across multiple departments and teams
• Strong presentation skills and experience collaborating and facilitating communications with global teams across different time zones and all levels of the organization
• Highly proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc. (and ideally their Google Suite counterparts)

Responsibilities

• Drive, manage and facilitate the global portfolio title review process across PlayStation Studios
• Foster positive and collaborative working relationships with development teams, executive leadership, and support groups
• Pro-actively monitor the portfolio of games in development at PlayStation Studios
• Recommend and help drive solutions, opportunities, and mitigate risks based on title review and assessment
• Continuously develop, refine, and implement process improvements
• Develop and use operational KPI’s focused on increased process maturity
• Maintain a knowledgebase of best practices and metrics that teams can use to approach their challenges from different perspectives

Preferred Qualifications

• Education: bachelor’s degree or greater
• Project Management Certification
