Remote Director Strategy

Summary

Join our team as a Director, Strategy in the Product Management & Strategic Alliances department, reporting directly to the VP, Product Management & Strategic Alliances and oversee a team of strategists. The successful candidate will lead the organization in identifying, developing, and implementing strategies that improve business operations, create growth opportunities, and increase market share.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5-7 years of strategy, management consulting, M&A or corporate development related experience
• 13+ years of overall experience with a Masters Degree, 15+ years of experience with a Bachelors Degree
• Ability to dissect complex issues, analyze data, and draw insights to inform decisions
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Products: Word, PowerPoint, Excel
• Proficient with models and forecasting
• Knowledge of market research and data analysis techniques
• Primary market research experience - conducting interviews, writing discussion guides, synthesizing results
• Experience writing and owning Product Business Plans
• Experiencing running strategy projects/engagements
• Excellent presentation skills – comfortable presenting in front of Executive Team

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy that aligns with the organization’s mission and vision
• Research and analyze the market landscape to identify opportunities, threats, and trends
• Lead all aspects of strategic planning, including goal setting, resource allocation, and implementation
• Develop performance metrics to measure the success of strategic goals
• Monitor and report on the progress of strategies, plans, and initiatives
• Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, partners, and external organizations
• Support the executive team in decision-making and problem-solving

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong preference for former management consultants with at least 5 years of experience
• Strong Preference for experience in the Healthcare industry
• Degree in business or related field, MBA preferred
