Requirements

  • Extensive direct sales leadership experience. Proven track record of success in driving global sales strategies, leading large teams, and delivering against ambitious revenue targets
  • Proven ability to bring teams together, building a culture of high performance and ensuring consistency in processes and systems
  • Experience building strong relationships with internal and external customers, including working collaboratively with other business leaders
  • Strong work ethic with proactive communication skills: ability to inspire with words and actions
  • Strong knowledge of global sales operations and the tools and training required to drive sales performance
  • Ability to lead in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement
  • Strong fluency in the English language (both written and verbal)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a global sales and account management strategy aligned with Moodle’s growth objectives, market opportunities, and business goals
  • Lead and scale a high-performing global sales and account management team, setting KPIs, revenue targets, and strategic objectives across regions
  • Identify new business opportunities, key markets, and strategic accounts to drive significant growth in Moodle’s B2B and enterprise segments
  • Collaborate with the product, marketing and delivery teams to align sales efforts with product roadmaps, go-to-market strategies and customer success initiatives
  • Leverage data-driven insights to improve forecasting accuracy, pipeline management, and performance reporting
  • Build and execute a comprehensive account management strategy focused on deepening relationships with existing customers, increasing customer lifetime value, and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling
  • Lead negotiations for large-scale, complex contracts and ensuring seamless handover to the delivery and implementation teams
  • Develop key account plans for high-priority customers, ensuring personalized solutions that address their needs and business objectives
  • Foster a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the global sales and account management teams
  • Provide mentorship, coaching, and development opportunities for Sales Managers, Sales Executives, Account Managers and Sales Development Representatives to ensure their growth and success
  • Drive operational excellence in sales processes, tools, and methodologies, ensuring scalability and efficiency as the team and business expand globally
  • Own the global sales and account management P&L, delivering on revenue targets, managing sales budgets, and optimizing cost-efficiency

Preferred Qualifications

  • Significant experience in the EdTech sector
  • A customer-obsessed approach and strong evidence of successful collaboration with Marketing teams on targeted outreach and engagement campaigns
  • An understanding of EdTech, particularly Learning management systems (LMS). Bonus points for Moodle experience!
  • Bilingual or multilingual

Benefits

  • Compensation consisting of base salary, ranging from $120,000-$130,000 for US based employees, plus variable compensation based on KPIs and sales team performance. Salary will vary for those outside of the US
