Summary

Join Centric Software's dynamic Finance team as the Manager, Global Sales Compensation! Oversee global sales commission accounting and financial reporting, ensuring accurate and timely calculations aligned with IFRS 15 and SOX controls. Prepare monthly account analyses, reconciliations, and reports. Supervise the Sales Compensation Team and collaborate with various departments for data accuracy. The ideal candidate possesses strong accounting and sales compensation experience within a public company, along with exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. This remote US-based role offers a competitive salary range of $150,000-$180,000.

Requirements

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in accounting/finance and at least 5 yearsโ€™ applicable work experience
  • Knowledge of accounting for costs to obtain customer contracts under IFRS 15 (or ASC 606 & Subtopic 340-40)
  • Ability to work independently, think objectively and interpret meaningful themes from quantitative and qualitative business data
  • Proven success in evaluating financial and business indicators and translating that data into actionable goals / models to drive results in a rapidly changing and ambiguous environment
  • Demonstrated strong experience using rigorous logic and methods to solve problems with effective solutions
  • Proven success in building constructive and effective relationships throughout a diverse set of business partners
  • Ability to influence at all levels, and to communicate work effectively and assertively within a team environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization, including Sales, Management, Executives
  • Professional, courteous, friendly, and empathetic
  • Ability to handle multiple projects with high attention to detail in a deadline-driven environment
  • Expertise in MS Excel โ€“ experience with pivot tables, complex formulas, lookup functions, etc
  • Expertise using ERPs such as NetSuite

Responsibilities

  • Administer the Global Sales Incentive Plan, including timely electronic distribution, tracking acceptance, individual plan setup, processing adjustments, and data validation
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, and Sales to ensure accurate data for sales compensation calculations
  • Ensure accurate and timely calculation of sales compensation and accruals
  • Perform and/or review validation of monthly commission calculations before accrual
  • Account for sales compensation and costs to obtain sales contracts in accordance with IFRS 15
  • Prepare and/or oversee preparation of monthly account analysis, reconciliations, and related financial reporting and metrics
  • Ensure day-to-day department compliance with policies and procedures and SOX controls
  • Ensure accurate and timely payroll submission, sales commission statement publication, and response to sales team inquiries
  • Manage the sales compensation team

Preferred Qualifications

  • Corporate accounting experience within a public company
  • Expertise using Salesforce and incentive compensation tools (ZenCentiv, Xactly, etc.)

Benefits

$150 - $180 base + benefits
