Summary

Join Planet as the Director of GTM and Business Model Strategy and play a critical role in accelerating sustainable growth across diverse markets. You will help drive the objectives of the GTM Strategy team, assessing market opportunities, developing and implementing new business models, and measuring performance. This highly cross-functional role requires collaboration across Planetโ€™s three Business Groups (D&I, Civil Government, and Commercial). The position is full-time and remote, based in the United States. You will develop pricing and packaging frameworks, conduct competitive analysis, optimize partner programs, and define key performance indicators (KPIs). This role reports to the Vice President, GTM Strategy and Investor Relations.

Requirements

  • A Bachelorโ€™s degree in Finance, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
  • A deep understanding of different B2B models and pricing strategies
  • 10+ years experience in corporate strategy, go-to-market, pricing and packaging or a related field
  • Proven ability to translate customer insights into actionable strategies
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to drive decision-making

Responsibilities

  • Help drive GTM Strategy team initiative to standardize GTM planning and market assessments across all three business groups (D&I, Civil Government, and Commercial)
  • Develop pricing & packaging frameworks, options, and models that align to customer value and support overall corporate growth objectives
  • Conduct ongoing competitive analysis and market research to identify emerging trends, assess competitor strategies, and inform strategic decisions regarding product positioning, pricing, and market entry
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize partner programs and business models, driving increased revenue and expanding market reach
  • Define and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of go-to-market strategies and measure the value delivered to customers

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or similar advanced degree
  • Experience in a public company environment
  • Experience in the geospatial industry
