Requirements
- Expertise in strategic marketing planning, project management, and execution
- 7+ years of experience in marketing leadership, ideally in B2B SaaS
- Proven success managing marketing teams responsible for multiple business lines or verticals simultaneously
- A visionary leader with a track record of driving business growth, inspiring teams, and building successful partnerships
Responsibilities
- Serve as a strategic partner to the VP of Growth, playing a critical role in guiding department strategy, growth initiatives, and supporting overall business objectives
- Drive marketing project management, ensuring projects are planned well in advance and delivered on time, while improving overall departmental organization and workflow
- Guide, coach and mentor Marketing middle management in executing business strategies and developing their teams
- Partner with the VP of Growth to scale the marketing department and plan the future structure of the team
- Build a strong leadership pipeline, helping to ensure key roles are filled by high-performing, capable individuals as we grow the team and company
- Set clear performance metrics in partnership with the VP of Growth, and hold the team accountable for achieving results. Regularly evaluate progress and adjust strategies as needed
- Partner with the operations team to actively monitor and report on key performance metrics including thorough inbound lead attribution, customer acquisition cost, and more
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure they are equipped with the content, messaging, and tools needed to drive engagement and close deals
- Partner with the customer success team to provide the necessary resources that support client retention, satisfaction, and long-term growth
