Director of Operations

Summary

Join Offchain Labs as their Director of Operations and play a pivotal role in scaling their internal operations. You will architect and execute critical projects, identify and resolve business inefficiencies, and lead operational projects across various areas such as procurement, vendor management, and employee onboarding. Collaborate with teams like Security, HR, and Experience to ensure smooth workflows and support company initiatives. Drive operational excellence by setting clear milestones and sustainability plans. Act as a key liaison for cross-functional initiatives, ensuring alignment and timely execution. Design and manage tools and programs to enhance operational efficiency and team enablement. Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant experience in a similar role, ideally in a fast-past startup environment
• 2+ years of leadership experience with an ability to manage and execute as an individual contributor
• Track record of leading complex, ambiguous projects with multiple partners successfully
• Track record mentoring and developing team members
• A team player, comfortable working in a high-growth, evolving environment
• Proven track record of gaining and maintaining leadership trust
• Analytical, creative approach to problem solving with a results-focused mindset

Responsibilities

• Architect, coordinate, project execute, and build the operational foundation necessary to scale across the business cross-functionally
• Identify business inefficiencies and create execution plans to turn company weaknesses into strengths
• Lead and deliver high-impact operational projects across areas such as procurement, vendor management, employee onboarding/offboarding, office management, program management, and company travel
• Manage and work closely with the Operations team to build the roadmap for the Operations department
• Partner with teams including Security, HR, and Experience to ensure cohesive operational workflows and support company-wide initiatives
• Drive long-term operational excellence by setting clear project milestones, success criteria, and post-launch sustainability plans
• Act as a key liaison for cross-functional initiatives, ensuring alignment, transparency, and timely execution across teams
• Design, launch, and manage tools, systems, trainings, and programs that enhance operational efficiency, compliance, and team enablement
