Join Garner, a rapidly growing healthcare company, as their Pricing Director! In this role, reporting to the Head of Finance, you will own the pricing strategy and algorithms. You will conduct in-depth quantitative research, manage pricing policies, maintain pricing tools, and build complex pricing models. You will also lead and develop a team of operations analysts. Requirements
- 6-10+ years of experience in a strategic problem-solving role; prior experience in management consulting, investment banking, or an early stage startup
- Ability to build and maintain complex data-driven models while uncovering areas of improvement
- Ability to think in principles and frameworks to understand complex, abstract problems
- A willingness to βroll up your sleevesβ and do whatever is necessary to ensure company success
- Experience working in a rapidly evolving startup environment

Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth quantitative research into healthcare insurance markets and Garner's product history to understand optimal pricing strategy
- Own Garnerβs rates, margin profile, and financial risk in the market for all new business and renewed clients
- Manage policies related to pricing exceptions, pricing concessions, and performance guarantees
- Maintain and scope improvements to tooling for quoting or renewals
- Build, maintain, and improve complex pricing models for our SAAS and financial risk products
- Build ad-hoc pricing models to help inform product decisions and systematizing these models to deliver consistent outcomes
- Benchmark to the competitive landscape to understand how our pricing compares
- Manage, develop, motivate, and retain a team of operations analysts
