Summary

This role requires developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market share in the Mass Channel. You will lead and mentor a high-performing sales team, conduct market research, and build strong relationships with retail partners. The ideal candidate possesses a Bachelor's degree, 8+ years of sales experience, 3+ years leading teams, and experience in CPG, beauty, and Target/drug channel accounts.   • Experience in the Beauty Industry
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
  • In-depth understanding of Retail dynamics, distribution channels, and consumer behavior within the Beauty Market
  • Proficient in Data Analysis and making informed decisions based on Market Trends and Sales Performance
  • Experience with Target and Drug Channel accounts

Responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy Development: Create and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue goals and expand market presence within the Mass Channel
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape within the beauty industry
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners, distributors, and stakeholders to drive sales and strong joint business planning process
  • Sales Forecasting: Develop accurate sales forecasts and budgets, monitoring performance against targets and adjusting strategies as needed. Partnering with Sales Planning to ensure accurate forecasts across new items launches and promotions at shelf
  • Collaboration: Strong collaboration skills working closely with marketing, product development, and operations teams to align sales initiatives with overall business objectives and ensure successful product launches
  • Performance Metrics: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of sales strategies and team performance
  • Training & Development: Provide ongoing training and support to the sales team to enhance product knowledge, sales techniques and planning and customer engagement strategies
