Summary

Join Megaport's EMEA sales team as a Sales Leader, reporting to the VP of Sales. You will build, develop, and inspire the DACH sales team, collaborate with cross-functional leaders to drive regional revenue growth, and manage high-profile customer relationships. This role requires leading new logo acquisition through executive-level engagement, consistently achieving sales targets, and owning sales reporting and forecasting. You will maintain deep product knowledge and engage in technical conversations. Requirements

  • Proven track record of successful sales leadership in networking or 'as-a-service' environments
  • Experience building and scaling sales teams during periods of rapid growth
  • Demonstrated success in entering new markets and acquiring new customers
  • Ability to lead direct sales while enabling strong collaboration with channel partners
  • Excellent customer-facing communication, presentation, and public speaking skills
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and a strategic understanding of business requirements
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across Marketing, Operations, Finance, Engineering, Product, and People teams
  • Comfortable working across diverse cultures and adapting to varied business contexts
  • Experience designing or deploying cloud and virtualization solutions in enterprise environments

Responsibilities

  • Build, develop, and inspire the DACH sales team to consistently deliver results
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to develop and execute strategies that drive regional revenue growth
  • Partner with the VP of Sales, EMEA to define business objectives and deliver on strategic priorities
  • Manage high-profile customer relationships and lead new logo acquisition through executive-level engagement
  • Consistently achieve or exceed sales targets and performance KPIs
  • Own sales reporting and forecasting across your team with accuracy and accountability
  • Maintain deep knowledge of Megaport products, partner offerings, and competitor solutions; engage confidently in technical conversations with customers, prospects, and partners
