Summary
Join WhatConverts as a Director of Sales (B2B SaaS) in a fully remote role. The ideal candidate will have experience selling SaaS products to SMB and mid-market clients, with a strong preference for those who have worked in marketing technology (MarTech). In this role, you'll lead the sales team, refine and execute sales strategy, collaborate with other departments, and drive revenue growth. Requirements
- Proven success in scaling sales teams in a B2B SaaS environment, ideally with experience selling solutions at $500+/month
- Strong background in selling MarTech solutions is highly preferred, with a deep understanding of the digital marketing/advertising industry
- Demonstrated ability to manage sales cycles with SMB and mid-market customers, focusing on value-based sales
- Experience with the digital marketing landscape, particularly search engine marketing (SEM), is a plus
- Managed a high-performing sales team of 5+ individuals
- Proven ability to drive performance, meet sales targets, and motivate remote teams through effective coaching and leadership
- Strong analytical mindset with experience tracking key sales metrics, analyzing data, and adjusting strategies accordingly
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- At least 5-7 years of experience in a Sales Manager or Director of Sales role, with a demonstrated track record of success within B2B SaaS
Responsibilities
- Refine and execute our existing sales strategy to achieve revenue goals
- Continually iterate sales playbooks and best practices to ensure consistency and scalability
- Monitor and report on key sales metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement
- Lead and manage the sales team to meet and exceed targets
- Foster a results-driven culture, aligning team efforts with company goals
- Work closely with Marketing and Customer Success to align sales efforts with lead generation, product development, and customer retention strategies
- Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure sales initiatives support the companyβs long-term objectives
- Drive new business acquisition and expand existing accounts through value-based selling
- Manage the sales pipeline with accurate forecasting, ensuring visibility into opportunities and performance
- Participate at a high level in pricing discussions and contract negotiations, ensuring alignment with company revenue goals
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in marketing technology (MarTech) is a strong advantage
