Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Proven experience as a Sales Manager/Director or similar leadership role, preferably within a digital marketing agency or selling into the nonprofit sector
  • Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth
  • Experience leading, inspiring, and growing a sales team, including Account Executives and an SDR team
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively lead change while collaborating with the team to determine solutions
  • Systems and data-driven mindset with proficiency in developing processes, analyzing sales metrics, and using data to inform decision-making
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Passion for nonprofit organizations and a genuine interest in making a positive impact through digital marketing
  • Hubspot expert

Responsibilities

  • Manage and provide guidance to a team of Account Executives and a Sales Enablement Manager
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing sales culture through coaching and inclusive change management
  • Drive team results through inspiration, motivation, and by engaging their buy in
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets
  • Collaborate with the executive team to align sales objectives with overall company goals
  • Continuously refine and optimize sales processes for improved efficiency and effectiveness
  • Occasional travel 10-15% to attend industry or company events
  • Work closely with other departments, such as Marketing, Events, and Client Services
  • Ensure seamless communication and collaboration
  • Provide input and support on client projects
  • Strong systems mindset to utilize our sales tools to the fullest extent: Hubspot, Gong, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc
  • Leverage data and analytics to make informed decisions and drive sales performance
  • Develop and track key sales metrics, identify trends, and provide actionable insights
  • Optimize sales processes and drive revenue growth
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development
  • Provide coaching, mentorship, and regular performance feedback
  • Support account executives by joining sales calls to support them with closing as needed
  • Effectively and collaboratively run Weekly Sales Meetings and various training
  • Help team members reach their full potential
  • Understand client needs, challenges, and goals
  • Deep understanding of marketing, ideally digital marketing
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts and regular reports for the executive team
  • Provide insights on sales pipeline, revenue projections, and performance
  • Strong expertise in Hubspot CRM
