Join Zipdev as our metrics-driven Director of Talent Acquisition to lead and scale our high-performance recruiting engine. You will lead a team of recruiters and sourcers, optimizing our end-to-end recruiting process, and ensuring high-quality LATAM talent delivery. This player-coach role blends strategic oversight with active participation in building teams. Responsibilities include team leadership and performance management using the EOS framework, recruiting strategy and process optimization, data and reporting on key metrics, stakeholder collaboration, and designing scalable training programs. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in technical recruiting, proven success scaling recruiting functions, and deep expertise in the full recruiting lifecycle. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in technical recruiting, with at least 2+ years in a leadership role managing a remote team of 5 or more
  • Proven track record of scaling a recruiting function in a high-growth environment
  • Deep expertise in the full recruiting lifecycle and a strong understanding of technical roles and developer profiles
  • Highly data-driven, with hands-on experience using ATS platforms (e.g., Workable) and analytics to manage performance and strategy
  • Exceptional leadership and coaching skills with a player-coach mentality
  • Excellent professional communication skills in both English and Spanish

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and scale a remote team of technical recruiters and sourcers
  • Drive team performance and accountability through the EOS framework, managing KPIs, Rocks, and individual scorecards
  • Own and continuously improve the entire recruiting lifecycle, from sourcing and screening to candidate submission
  • Implement and manage tools and processes that increase efficiency and ensure candidate quality
  • Own all recruiting analytics
  • Deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports on key metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, submittal-to-hire ratio, source effectiveness) to inform strategy and demonstrate departmental ROI
  • Partner closely with the Client Success and Sales teams to ensure a seamless kickoff and delivery process for all client requirements
  • Collaborate with the Director of Talent Success to facilitate a smooth handover from candidate to new team member
  • Design and maintain scalable training programs, playbooks, and SOPs to ensure consistent quality and rapid onboarding for new recruiters
  • Build the operational foundation to support the team's growth

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with the EOS framework is a strong plus
  • Experience in the nearshore staffing industry, serving US-based clients
