Requirements
- Bachelorโs degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in packaging engineering, with a proven track record of building scalable and compliant packaging systems in the pharmaceutical, OTC drugs, or related industries
- Expertise in designing primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging materials, including automation integration
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements for pharmaceutical packaging and cold chain logistics
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving end-to-end ownership of packaging processes
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
- Passion for innovation and sustainability in packaging design
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across diverse teams
- 20% Domestic Travel
Responsibilities
- Serve as the conduit between IRD, Marketing, Pharmacy Operations, and Finance, ensuring strategic alignment and cohesive development and implementation of packaging solutions
- Evaluate and source materials that balance innovation, cost, and environmental impact
- Oversee the validation, testing, and troubleshooting of packaging systems, ensuring safety and performance
- Facilitate cross-functional team input to develop packaging that balances design, functionality, and compliance, considering the trade-offs in decision-making processes
- Ensure all packaging meets regulatory standards, overseeing testing and adaptation to meet these requirements without compromising design
- Integrate cutting-edge automation solutions to enhance scalability and efficiency of packaging operations
- Collaborate with the design and marketing teams to ensure the packaging aligns with Roโs brand and marketing strategies, enhancing the overall customer experience
