Summary

Join Narvar as Director of Partnerships to expand our reach through strategic partnerships and ecosystem development. You will design and implement referral, reseller, and platform strategies to significantly scale Narvar's business and generate substantial revenue. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, marketing, sales, customer success, finance, and legal to achieve business growth. This role demands a proven track record in channel sales or business development, specifically in revenue-generating partnerships within the B2B SaaS sector. Prior startup experience is essential, and a strong understanding of e-commerce and retail is highly valued. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to lead complex, first-of-their-kind commercial deals.

Requirements

  • BA/ BS required, MS/ MBA would be nice to have
  • 10+ years of channel sales or business development experience with specific revenue generating partnerships
  • 5+ years of B2B SaaS experience
  • Must have direct, recent experience building revenue generating partnerships
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, assess and prioritize channel opportunities and the target partners within those channels
  • Demonstrated experience leading large, complex, first-in-kind commercial deals -- from opportunity assessment to execution to launch
  • Demonstrated ability to absorb and learn new domains quickly
  • Previous startup experience required

Responsibilities

  • Map the ecosystem, source partners from that ecosystem and negotiate first-in-kind deals that accelerate Narvar’s business and drive meaningful revenue
  • Drive excitement and engagement across the ecosystem and serve as an evangelist in the industry
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across product, engineering, marketing, sales, customer success, finance and legal to scale Narvar’s business
