Requirements
- Deep knowledge of US and Canadian employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices
- Strong business acumen and ability to align HR strategies with organizational goals
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to work across all levels of the organization
- Experience in HRIS systems and leveraging analytics for decision-making
- Ability to navigate and influence in a global organization
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Lead the execution of HR programs, including onboarding, payroll, benefits administration, and employee lifecycle management for the US and Canada
- Provide support on HR-related topics such as leaves, compensation, and policies
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and provincial labor laws, regulations, and company policies across the US and Canada
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies
- Act as a strategic advisor to business leaders on workforce planning, talent management, and organizational design within the region
- Create and implement learning and development strategy that provides internal development opportunities for employees and managers that supports business objectives
- Collaborate with Business Unit Leaders, Community & Program Leaders, People Country Managers, and department heads to ensure training programs address workforce needs
