Summary
Join iBase-t as their PMO Director of Professional Services and lead their Program Management Office (PMO). You will oversee projects, ensuring they meet customer and organizational goals. This role involves developing and implementing PMO processes, directing project management staff, and collaborating with other departments. You will manage project escalations and maintain executive-level customer relationships. The position requires significant project management experience, particularly within the Aerospace & Defense industry. A strong leadership background and excellent communication skills are essential.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, Manufacturing or Operations
- 10+ years project management experience implementing commercial software solutions interacting with customer executives to manage governance
- 10+ years of experience working with Aerospace & Defense customers
- 5+ years of managing teams of program or project managers
- Deep knowledge of PMO processes and methodologies
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Basecamp)
- Proven track record of delivering high value project/program outcomes for Aerospace & Defense customers
Responsibilities
- Lead the identification, development, and implementation of PMO processes and policies and align iBase-t Solumina implementation practices with sound PMO practices to create a repeatable and scalable Solumina Deployment Methodology focused on Fast Time To Value
- Manage risks and issues that may arise during customer project execution and ensure compliance with organizational standards and best practices
- Direct project management staff and provide guidance and support, provide training and mentoring to project management staff, and facilitate communication and coordination among project teams and stakeholders
- Collaborate with customers, sales, and other professional services teams to define, prioritize, develop, and run customer projects and programs and develop and manage customer project budgets, timelines, and resources
- Monitor customer project progress and performance and provide regular updates to senior management and implement process improvements to enhance project management efficiency
- Responsible for forecasting Professional Services project revenue, costs and project resource needs
Preferred Qualifications
PMP, PMI, or other relevant certifications preferred
