Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in social media strategy, digital marketing, or communications, ideally with CPG or consumer brand experience
- Deep fluency in social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Meta, LinkedIn, Pinterest, X) and emerging spaces
- Passion for internet culture—you live and breathe trends, memes, creators, and the shifting digital landscape
- Strong presentation, writing, and communication skills, with comfort presenting in-person or on-camera
- Proven success managing multi-platform campaigns and delivering measurable results
- Hands-on experience with social management and analytics platforms (e.g., Brandwatch, Sprinklr, Sprout Social, Infegy Atlas)
- Ability to work fast, think ahead, and juggle priorities in a high-velocity environment
- Desire to not just lead teams but shape how the agency shows up in social strategy
Responsibilities
- Lead Social-First Strategy
- Develop and lead integrated social strategies that drive business growth and cultural relevance for CPG brands
- Build tailored playbooks combining paid, earned, and organic approaches, with a strong POV on brand voice and platform behavior
- Proactively spot and translate social trends—memes, moments, behaviors—into brand opportunities that move fast and hit hard
- Bring AI tools into your workflow to sharpen insights, produce POVs faster, and drive better creative and media outcomes
- Own Creative + Measurement Strategy
- Collaborate closely with creative, digital, influencer, and media teams to shape campaigns optimized for platform, culture, and audience behavior
- Establish KPIs and measurement frameworks to show real impact—not just vanity metrics
- Lead real-time optimization during campaigns, delivering insights that make the work smarter mid-flight
- Guide influencer strategy, from partner identification to partnership frameworks that feel native to the brand and audience
- Lead Client Relationships
- Serve as a key client-facing lead, delivering strategic counsel, ideas, insights, and performance reporting
- Anticipate client needs and proactively push thinking forward, not just answer briefs
- Present clearly, confidently, and persuasively across meetings, presentations, and workshops
- Build the Team and the Future
- Mentor and develop the next generation of social strategists across the agency
